Ideally I would like to write a review of Panera Bread as The AI did, but I can’t as I continue to get bad service ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time.
Here is the AI’s Opinion of Panera Bread:
Sure, here is a business review of Panera Bread of Charleston, South Carolina from a customer’s perspective:
Overall:
Panera Bread is a popular bakery-cafe chain with locations all over the United States. The Charleston location is no exception, and it is a great place to get a quick and healthy meal. The staff is friendly and the food is always fresh.
Pros:
- The food is always fresh and delicious.
- The staff is friendly and helpful.
- The atmosphere is clean and inviting.
- There are plenty of seating options, both indoor and outdoor.
- The prices are reasonable.
Cons:
- The line can get long during peak times.
- The parking lot can be crowded.
- The menu can be a bit overwhelming.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Panera Bread of Charleston to anyone looking for a quick and healthy meal. The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting.
Here are some specific reviews from customers:

Now here is my look at all 6 locations in Charleston and surrounding area:
Panera Bread
2000 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston, SC, 29407 – Has by far the worst customer service, cold coffee when it should be hot coffee, starts to shut down or close the store about 6pm, but the store doesn’t close until 9pm.
5070 International Blvd Charleston, SC, 29418 – Has bad customer service, comes off as lazy and employees seam like they don’t care. cold coffee when it should be hot coffee, starts to shut down or close the store about 6pm, but the store doesn’t close until 9pm. After coming to multi-locations it seams like this is acceptable behavior of employees.
2135 Ashley Phosphate Rd, Charleston, SC, 29406 – Today on Sunday they opened at 7:00am the coffee I got about 7:30 am was cold. If you opened at 7:00 am the coffee should still be hot. I have cold morning coffee that is cold and it not what I should accept from a business that build it reputation on having fresh food, hot coffee or a cold soda from the soda machine. They have Homeless that hang out most or all day.
1311 North Main St, Summerville, SC, 29483 – Seams like they are under staffed, like all locations they put your food in a to go bag like they would rather have you out the door instead of giving you the traditional customer experience where you sit down for your meal. Most of the time the coffee is hot and fresh in the morning.
1135 Muhlenbergia Dr Suite 103, Mount Pleasant 29466 – I will write the same as the last location – Seams like they are under staffed, like all locations they put your food in a to go bag like they would rather have you out the door instead of giving you the traditional customer experience where you sit down for your meal. Most of the time the coffee is hot and fresh in the morning.
9480 Dorchester Rd Summerville, SC, 29485 – Is by far the best location in the Charleston area I have been too. It’s clean, no problems like the other locations so far each time I have been there.
In Closing I think Panera Bread should step up and re-train everyone about customer service the need to keep the locations opened until closing time. One of Jimmy John’s things is you don’t lock the door until 5 minutes after closing to allow customers come and get their food, orders, coffee and it shows good customer service and your going the “X-Mile”.
