2 year HVAC technical degree and 5 years HVAC service experience or 10 years HVAC service experience including 5 years in a management position.
Position description:
Support the General Manager in all daily business activities. Manage the Service Department members that include Scheduling Coordinators, Administrative Assistants, multiple HVAC and Plumbing Service Technicians, and multiple Precision Tune-Up Specialists.
Primary objectives of this position:
• Operate the Service Department in a manner that reflects professionalism throughout the community.
• Manage the Service Department not to satisfy our customer but Exceed Expectations. With the use of the Service
Department staff, schedule each service call to be the most time and cost effective as possible while providing the
very best service to our customers as possible.
• Train, mentor technicians with scheduled in house training and continuing education programs.
• Maintain inventory and tool procurement for all service vehicles.
• Provide service and technical support to all company personnel as required.
• Work directly with The Sales Manager to increase our residential and commercial Service Agreement Customers
volume annually.
• Operate a profitable Service Department that achieves a pre-determined net profit annually.
