Benefits Communications Manager – $90K – VA (washington, DC: northern virginia)

About You:

• 5+ years of communications experience.
• Knowledgeable about employee benefit programs and investments/retirement benefit plans with the ability to write technical knowledge for HR benefits.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
• Organized and detail-oriented with excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.

The Job:

• Develop communication strategies.
• Provide tactical communications support for the association’s retirement benefit programs and associated resources.
• Partner with stakeholders and project team members to develop materials designed to educate, inform, and encourage action with respect to appropriate retirement planning behaviors.
• Assist with the design, messaging, and promotion of the association’s conferences and maintain project budgets.
• Complete other tasks and provide additional support as needed.

This is a temporary-to-permanent position that pays $38/hr-$42/hr when temporary and converts to a salary of $90K when made permanent (DOE). If you are interested in this role, apply today with your Microsoft Word resume!
