Lead Bartender (Petworth) Mr. Braxton Bar & Kitchen

We are a cozy but lively traditional American bistro with an international, “fun and funky” flair.

We’re seeking a full-time lead bartender .

Must have:
– Open availability
– At least two years of high volume, full-service restaurant experience
– Ability to obtain an ABRA manager’s license (we will cover fees)
– Experience training & developing other bartenders

Primary duties include:
– Offering hospitable and professional service to all guests
– Superb command of all menus (food and beverage) including details regarding allergies & preparation
– Ability to optimally setup, breakdown and maintain a clean and stocked bar
– Creating menu cocktails and executing specs with quality and consistency
– Adhering to all ABRA & Safeserve guidelines to maintain safe and comfortable bar environment for all guests

Essential physical functions include:
– Walk and stand during entire shift.
– Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
– Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds

Other requirements:
– Strong English-language communication skills are required.
– Extensive knowledge of craft cocktails wine, spirits and beer
– Well-groomed appearance and hospitable demeanor.
