SCREEN PRINTER NEEDED (Los Angeles (Atwater Village)) Grow Your Own Media

Shop Hours are 10am-6pm, Tuesday – Saturday.

Compensation will depend on experience ($18-20 hr.)

This position is Full-Time.

Shop Skills:

Organization- Keep a clean working environment (i.e., no finger prints or pin holes on the goods)

Comprehension- Read and fulfill order requirements; know how to ask questions if something isn’t clear

Communication – We’re a small team & often need to put our heads together for some creative problem solving. Communication is key to overcoming production obstacles

Consistency- Print jobs must be consistent with approved print quality and placement

Confidence- Keep client jobs in registration each and every time and correct production issues as they appear.

Additional desired knowledge:

Manual printing experience: Hopkins, BWM, M&R, Ranar equipment

Know how to set up to 6 color jobs using registration marks with film, proper off contact and how to use a flash dryer

Plastisol inks / some water-base experience is helpful.

Knowledge of ink mixing- automatic, poster printing, etc. All printing experiences help.

Understand the balance of completing a job within a deadline with quality and attention to details from start to finish
