NASA’s New Horizons mission, which flew by Pluto in July 2015, revealed a surprisingly dynamic and complex world far beyond previous expectations. These findings transformed Pluto from a frozen, dead world into a geologically active, diverse dwarf planet with a complex climate and hidden internal dynamics.
