- Some point out that six chapters (10–16) are often skipped in such claims, making “every chapter” inaccurate.
- The Messianic Secret (Jesus commanding silence) suggests the full revelation of his identity was gradual, not overtly stated.
Conclusion: While the Gospel of Mark strongly implies Jesus’ divinity through actions, titles, and scriptural echoes, it does not explicitly state in every chapter that Jesus is God. The claim is more accurately described as a theological interpretation than a literal textual assertion.
