Ultra Soft Throw Blanket with Plaid, Cozy Flannel Fleece Luxury Blanket for Bed, Sofa and Couch Red 50 x 60 inch

The HOMRITAR Ultra Soft Throw Blanket with Plaid (Red, 50×60″) is rated 4.6–4.7 out of 5 stars across ~828+ ratings on Amazon and 4.8/5 on Walmart (8 reviews). It’s made of 350 GSM microfiber polyester, weighs ~16 oz, and is machine-washable.

Common positive themes:

Softness is the #1 praised feature — described as “plush,” “buttery,” and “soft without being heavy”
Color vibrancy — the red is called “perfectly red” and “doesn’t fade”
Lightweight — easy to carry, good for layering
Value — at ~$16, most find it a good deal for the size
Easy care — washes well, no shrinking

Common complaints:

Thin / not very warm — the most frequent negative; several reviewers say it’s “more decorative than functional” and “you can almost see through it”
Shedding — noticeable lint, especially after the first few washes
Size expectations — some buyers expected it to be larger for a “master blanket” use case

Sample review quotes (from this product’s Amazon listing and closely matching variants):

“Such a pretty and soft little throw. I like it so well that I bought 3 more red ones as Christmas gifts.”
“Omg! This is just how pictured. Well made! Beautiful color! Fits perfect on my queen size bed.”
“This blanket matches perfectly. It’s huge. So soft. And sooooo warm.”
“At 50″ × 60″, it’s a great size—large enough to snuggle under comfortably while still being easy to fold and store. It washes well without fading.”
“Very thin, not what I expected and leaves fuzzy red all over the place. I thought it was going to be fluffy and cozy but it was quite disappointing.”
“Too thin. Like it would be good on a summer day if you had the A/C on.”
“Was hoping for a warm heavy blanket. But this is so thin I can almost see through it. Definitely meant to be decorative and not functional.”
“Super cozy and soft but sheds everywhere, I’ve already washed it once but the shedding is so bad.”
“It’s a soft lightweight blanket, but it’s not durable. It sheds like crazy and gets all over your clothes.”
“Small, light weight but very pretty and soft.”

Bottom line: It’s a solid decorative/summer throw that’s very soft and good-looking for the price, but if you need a genuinely warm winter blanket, it’s too thin. Expect some shedding in the first few washes. For a heavier, warmer option in the same style, look at a 300+ GSM flannel or a sherpa-reverse throw.
